RULE 2 of the Current JCCA Men's Adult Tennis League Rules and Regulation states:
"2. A COMPETITION COMMITTEE of four plus the TENNIS CHAIRMAN will be available in the event of a problem or
protest to enforce the League Rules and Regulations. Members are elected by vote of the Tennis Committee at the
May Captains’ Meetings, to two-year terms. (Changed 08/05/03)"
Even though Rule 2 states, "four plus the TENNIS CHAIRMAN," the Tennis Committee elected two additional members at the 5/2/04 Captains Meeting without retiring the two Committee members who had initially indicated a desire to cease serving on the Committee.

Competition Committee Duties, responsibilities, and structure
As of 8/20/04 there is nothing more definitive than Rule 2 to govern Competition Committee Duties, Responsibilities or Structure. As a first cut at codifying the Committee activities, a document was proposed for consideration by the Competition Committee, but was not discussed in detail.

On August 12, at approximately 6:45 PM, Green Acres #3 objected to being moved to the Red Division, after the Captain had failed to attend the August 10 Captains Meeting at Green Acres, and the Schedule had been issued.

The matter was referred to the Competition Committee, and a meeting was set to discuss all aspects of the complaint.

An agenda was prepared and followed for the meeting. The Agenda may be examined via this LINK.
